An exciting six-month secondment opportunity as a Clinical Governance and Quality Lead within the Acute Nursing Directorate. This role involves managing incidents and complaints, supporting high standards of care and governance, and requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

We have an exciting opportunity for a six-month secondment to the Acute Nursing Directorate for a Clinical Governance and Quality Lead.
Are you a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with the creativity, experience, skills, energy, and commitment to play a key role in the Clinical Governance and Quality work of the Surgical Directorate? This position is for a six-month secondment initially. Applicants should discuss this with their line manager before expressing interest.
The postholder will support the Head of Nursing, Surgical Directorate, in managing incidents and complaints, taking a lead role in resolution and follow-up actions. They will also be responsible for collecting and reporting data to the Directorate and Divisional Clinical Governance meetings and Performance Reviews. This role is vital in ensuring high standards of care, incident management, and effective governance within the Surgical Directorate.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and relationship-building skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and staff at all levels of seniority.
