Job summary

ADvendio, operating from our Chile office, is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the ongoing high quality and reliability of our Salesforce-native advertising platform. You will design automated test flows for AI features, perform manual and exploratory testing, and document defects in JIRA while collaborating with developers and product managers.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
• Experience testing AI features and functionalities.
• Demonstrated background in manual and exploratory testing, test documentation, and defect tracking tools (such as JIRA).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and ceremonies.
• Curiosity for learning new technologies; Salesforce platform familiarity is a plus.
• Experience or familiarity with media, advertising, or SaaS industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing, creating, maintaining, and executing automated test flows for new and existing AI features.
• Performing manual and exploratory testing for new or complex functionality where automation is not yet feasible to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Thoroughly documenting test cases, logging and tracking defects in JIRA, and verifying fixes.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional software developers and product managers to clearly communicate findings and reproduce bugs.
• Actively participating in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives) to advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Reviewing technical design documents and quality specifications to identify potential issues before implementation begins.
• Supporting product release cycles by executing regression testing suites and validating final builds.
• Staying current with QA trends, test automation technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement across our quality processes.
