BairesDev is a global fully remote tech services company seeking a Production Engineer to own end-to-end production systems, blending software development with infrastructure management for reliability and scalability.

You will design automation, manage scalable infrastructure, and partner with engineers to ensure high availability and proactive monitoring. This role offers 100% remote work with USD compensation and flexible hours.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Production Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and networking.
• Hands-on experience with capacity planning and infrastructure automation.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

Production Engineer at BairesDev

As a Production Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of production systems, combining software development expertise with infrastructure management. You will play a critical role in ensuring service reliability and scalability through code and advanced automation.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop automation tools to improve the efficiency and reliability of production systems
• Manage and scale infrastructure by performing comprehensive capacity planning and performance tuning
• Ensure high availability of services by troubleshooting and resolving complex Linux and networking issues
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting strategies to proactively identify and mitigate system failures
• Partner with engineering teams to build and maintain scalable, high-performance infrastructure

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Production Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in owning and managing large-scale production systems end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration and networking.
• Hands-on experience with capacity planning and infrastructure automation.
