Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a curious, driven Product Operations Intern to join our Rewards team. You will work with the product, engineering, design, and data teams to ensure receipt scanning is accurate and hard to abuse, feeding into future product work.

You’ll document edge cases, provide actionable feedback to engineering, and help improve workflows and guidelines while pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Interest in consumer fintech, rewards and loyalty, or scalable product operations.
• Strong eye for detail and aim for accuracy in all work.
• Structured thinking; turn individual cases into rules and fixes.
• Clear writing to create bug reports and summaries for engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day quality of receipt submissions; apply validation rules and make approve/reject decisions.
• Spot edge cases and document unusual receipt formats, quirks, duplicates, or abuse.
• Provide engineering feedback with bug reports, reproducible examples, and improvement suggestions.
• Maintain a prioritized improvement list based on impact, risk, and cost; assist planning.
• Track fixes through backlog; follow up on status and flag regressions.
