Your Profile:
- Degree in Engineering or a technical background related to industrial or energy automation
- Proven experience in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development (WAGO experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Structured Text (ST)
- Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus, IEC101/102/104)
- Experience with RTUs, plant automation, power control, and SCADA functionalities
- Knowledge of VBA scripting
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing/switching)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and firewall configuration (e.g. FortiGate, Palo Alto)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)

Your Mission:
As a PLC & SCADA Engineer, you will play a key role in the automation and monitoring of large-scale photovoltaic power plants across the Iberoamerican market. You’ll develop and implement intelligent control systems and work at the intersection of software, hardware, and renewable energy.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PLC programs using Structured Text (ST), primarily on the Codesys platform (WAGO PLCs)
- Design and implement HMI interfaces and control logic
- Configure hardware components including I/O modules and communication interfaces
- Test and debug PLC programs and automation systems
- Perform remote and on-site commissioning of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale PV plants, primarily in the Iberian region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions
- Create and maintain documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
