NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Senior Charge Nurse to lead Day Surgery and Endoscopy on a 6-month secondment to cover maternity leave. You will provide visible leadership to Day Surgery and Endoscopy teams, ensuring safe, person-centred care while supporting service development and operational performance.
This post is a secondment with temporary funding; applicants must have written line-manager approval to be released for secondment. A driving licence is required.
Formación
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Educated to/working towards/operating at Masters level.
- Post-graduate expertise in a speciality demonstrating breadth of knowledge to lead safely and efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality.
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required.
Responsabilidades
- Lead in planning, priority setting and decision making to ensure patients' needs and organisational goals are met and contribute to guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Undertake expert clinical nursing practice.
- Assess, appraise and apply evidence-base for Clinical Practice.
- Identify and promote health improvement and prevention of ill health.
