This shift to clean energy—and the need for commodities—is critical to underpinning the energy transition. At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net zero in a way which is more sustainable than ever before.
This role will be responsible for preparing, compiling, and maintaining the technical documentation and drawings supporting the acquisition of environmental and sector‑specific permits for the project. The role aligns information generated by the engineering disciplines with the authorities’ formal requirements so that each application is submitted complete, traceable, and consistent with the current design. The position serves as a control point between the engineering team, the environmental team, and regulatory agencies. Performance is measured by the quality of permit application documentation, adherence to committed deadlines, and the absence of avoidable comments during the permitting process.
