A global leader in financial services is seeking a Trade & Working Capital Trade Sales Vice President in Santiago, Chile. Formación

As Global Trade Sales in Trade and Working Capital, you will support bankers in end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include developing trade business, managing client strategies, originating profitable business aligned with those strategies, providing client advisory services, managing portfolios, and resolving issues. You will work closely with corporate bankers, credit teams, operations, trade departments, and various internal business partners across different lines of business.

As a Trade & Working Capital Trade Sales Vice President in the Trade & Working Capital division of J.P. Morgan Payments, you will be responsible for promoting profitable growth of Chile and the entire Southern Cone region. You will provide both Structured & Core Trade solutions to J.P. Morgan Trade target large headquartered (HQ) clients to meet their local and outbound requirements and inbound requirements of our multinational (Subsidiary) clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Originate and structure new opportunities with clients across Core Trade and Structured Trade solutions covering Supply Chain Finance, Dynamic Discounting, Sales Finance, and Inventory Finance among others.
  • Drive asset and revenue ramp through origination of new business via sales calls, client visits, and RFPs, managing relationships on TWC products with identified key clients portfolio including prospecting and deepening client relationships, developing strategy to meet Business results - revenue growth and new sales targets for global trade products as well as developing business and cross-sell opportunities with clients.
  • In partnership with other Executives, drive revenue generation in alignment with client objectives and strategy, creating client solutions and support business promotion, preparing and maintaining updated pipeline reports, client product capabilities presentations & proposals, management of the entire sales process from selling to full implementation (including proposals, contract negotiation, documentation, and coordinating product partners / implementation teams).
  • Support the growth of TWC P&L across products and contribute to the achievement of new business goals.
  • Collaborate with Payments, functional and coverage bankers to promote the execution of the sales strategy, to achieve new business sales objectives, expand market share, and increase the share of wallet with targeted clients.
  • Engage in compelling financial and working capital analysis to formulate proposals for new businesses.
  • Contribute to strategic account planning for targeted clients, focusing on the use of credit capital and balancing client needs against firm-wide priorities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Previous experience and a demonstrated track record of success in Trade Sales, Transaction Banking, and managing client relationships.
  • Deep trade and transaction banking product knowledge relevant to the Southern Cone region.
  • Established network and experience working with Large Corporate and Subsidiaries in the Southern Cone region.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective collaboration, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills, demonstrated in a client-facing role.
  • Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related - with MBA or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Trade Finance or Sales of Banking products.
  • Specific skills: verbal and written skills in Spanish and English (mandatory), basic/intermediate knowledge of Portuguese (plus).
  • Client focus and relationship-building skills across lines of business and levels.
  • Ability to identify and link new client opportunities with new solutions (requires solution mindset + technical background and open-minded brainstorming view).
