Reboot Monkey seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Las Lumas, Chile, on-site to support mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

The role involves hardware installations, migrations, and cabling, with documentation and coordination with remote NOC and client teams. Requires 2+ years in data center/IT infra and strong English communication. On-site transport and lifting abilities are expected.

Formación

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Professional communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
