RINA Piraeus Team in Santiago seeks a Mobility Senior Project Engineer to lead the Infrastructure & Mobility (I&M) team in Latin America. You will drive technical growth, coordinate engineers and partners, and work with international teams to advance project development.

The role requires a senior profile with a strong background in transport infrastructure engineering, tender experience, and fluent Spanish/English (Portuguese a plus), based in Santiago.

Formación

• Master’s degree in civil/transport engineering or equivalent required.
• Proven senior-level experience in infrastructure design, mobility or transportation projects in LatAm.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong proposal development, bid preparation and cost evaluation capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

RINA is currently recruiting for a Mobility Senior Project Engineer to join its office in Santiago within theProject EngineeringDivision.

Mission

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator / Technical Leader with a strong interdisciplinary background in Transport Infrastructure Engineering who can strengthen the company’s technical capabilities in Latin America, build and lead a solid and autonomous technical team, and actively support the growth of the company in the Region, by providing overall leadership to the Technical Activities, and being active part in the preparation of technical proposals and participation in tenders. #LI-KM

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the technical growth of the Infrastructure & Mobility (I&M) team in LatAm
• Build, develop, and coordinate teams of engineers, suppliers and project partners
• Coordinate with RINA International teams (e.g. Europe) to support project development
• Provide technical support to projects during the study, design, and delivery phases
• Ensure technical quality, consistency, and reliability of deliverables within project implementation phase
• Actively participate in the preparation of technical bids, including methodological approach, team organization and CVs, and cost evaluation
• Support the selection, training, and development of local technical resources

Education

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Engineering

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of technical experience in infrastructure design, mobility, or transportation projects in the LatAm region
• Proven experience as a technical lead, coordinator, or senior engineer
• Experience with tenders, technical bids, or proposals
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, Portuguese is an added value
• Proactive mindset, with a strong focus on growth and problem solving
• International experience – outside LatAm, is considered an added value
• Capable of high-level strategic planning to optimize project execution.
