Descripción del empleo

Responsible for managing all warehouse operations related to crane spare parts, ensuring efficient inventory control, receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes. Ensures inventory accuracy, compliance with safety and quality standards, and alignment with company procedures and service levels. Coordination of technicians for the performance of tasks/services in the workshop.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse and service operations, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, and dispatching crane spare parts, responsible for ensuring that warehouse activities align with service schedules
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
  • Lead and develop the warehouse team, promoting engagement, training, and achievement of performance targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in ERP and WMS systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with procurement and planning teams to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate import processes for parts and liaise with administrative areas and customs brokers when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, warehouse organization, and 5S methodology.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Track and report warehouse performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Field of study – Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience requirements (years) – 5-7
  • Solid experience in warehouse management, preferably in industrial or technical environments involving heavy or replacement parts.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, TOTVS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Intermediate English level (especially for technical communication and import documentation).
  • Familiarity with occupational safety standards and handling of heavy components.
