Mentor for Chuquicamata UG

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level technical support and personalized instruction during maintenance activities. They will train technical staff on proper procedures, diagnostics, fault evaluation, and repair of various systems on assigned equipment or specific areas. Additionally, they will assess the skills and capabilities of technical personnel to ensure maintenance and repair tasks are properly executed.

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and facilitate group training sessions by designing and delivering various technical courses for internal personnel.
• Determine and prepare technical instructions based on specific area needs. Train and instruct staff, then evaluate the effectiveness of training and satisfaction of participants.
• Assess technical skills of personnel.
• Control and propose correct procedures for maintenance work following factory guidelines. Conduct selective audits of maintenance and repair tasks.
• Record training participation information.
• Evaluate the capabilities and skills of contract and branch technical staff to perform assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Technical Degree (Middle or Higher Level)
• At least 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment
• Residency in Antofagasta / Calama

Internal Requirements:

• 1 year in current position
• Performance evaluation marked as "Meets Expectations"
• Minimum application level: 3B or TA
