Johnson & Johnson busca un Medical Science Liaison para mejorar y expandir las posibilidades en el área de cirugía. Este rol requiere establecer relaciones clave y proporcionar expertise científica sobre productos médicos innovadores. El candidato ideal tiene un título en ciencias médicas y experiencia en la industria de dispositivos médicos, y será fundamental para apoyar la estrategia médica de la empresa.

Formación

  • Licenciatura en Ciencias Médicas: Médico (deseable), biología, farmacia u otra disciplina relacionada.
  • Especialidad quirúrgica es deseable.
  • Proficiencia en inglés (intermedio).

Responsabilidades

  • Desarrollar relaciones con KOLs y proveedores de salud.
  • Proporcionar experiencia científica y clínica a partes interesadas internas y externas.
  • Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales para comunicar eficazmente la información científica.

Purpose:

As a Medical Science Liaison, you will serve as a scientific expert and resource for our medical devices company. You will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and academic institutions to advance our scientific and clinical understanding of our products, shaping behaviors and supporting informed decision making of our customers whilst identifying and bringing medical insights into the organization as inputs to medical strategy. In addition, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including health economics and market access, marketing, and sales, to ensure that scientific and medical information is communicated effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, healthcare providers, and academic institutions in the therapeutic areas related to our products through customized interactions, focusing on changing medical behavior by the exchange of scientific knowledge.
  • Gather insights from field interactions regarding scientific knowledge, treatments paradigms, competitors, medical needs and opportunities.
  • Provide scientific and clinical expertise to internal and external stakeholders to support the development and commercialization of our products.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest scientific and clinical developments in the therapeutic areas related to our products.
  • Attend conferences and meetings to present our company's scientific data and stay informed of the latest research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate scientific and medical information effectively.
  • Work closely with Professional Education department to develop and execute medical educational events and with Commercial Education for Internal training.
  • Design and execute the KOL engagement plan according to strategy and validated by MAF and other internal business partners.
  • Respond to scientific inquiries of HCPs / investigators / health care systems and public health decision makers, integrating scientific data into real life practice to meet audience needs.
  • Assist in the development of scientific and educational materials for internal and external use.
  • Participate in the review and analysis of scientific and clinical data to support the development and commercialization of our products.
  • Represent the company at scientific and medical meetings and events.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Medical Sciences: Medical Doctor (desirable) biology, pharmacy, or other medical related discipline.
  • Surgical Specialty is desirable.
  • Proficient in English (Intermedite)
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Experience:

  • Experience in Medical Devices or Pharma Industry as a Medical Affairs or Medical Science role and an advanced degree in science is a plus (MSc., Ph.D.)
  • Work experience in health care or academic research.
