Job Responsibilities of Medical Officer

1. Attend to all patients, including:
2. Examine patients
3. Decide on investigations to support diagnosis
4. Refer to a consultant if necessary
5. Admit patients to the ward if necessary
6. Complete necessary forms for patient treatment
7. Provide appropriate treatment
8. Conduct medical examinations for employees of Panel Companies if needed
9. Attend to emergencies in the wards until the arrival of a consultant
10. Complete medical reports for patients when required
11. Assist in training programs if necessary
12. Deliver health talks or lectures if needed
13. Report incidents and hazards to superiors and complete Incident Report Forms for each accident or incident
14. Ensure effective communication and teamwork across services within the organization
15. Perform duties as assigned by management
16. Participate in new services introduced by the organization and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and MSQH standards
17. Adhere to relevant duties under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and regulations
