Job Responsibilities of Medical Officer
- Attend to all patients, including:
- Examine patients
- Decide on investigations to support diagnosis
- Refer to a consultant if necessary
- Admit patients to the ward if necessary
- Complete necessary forms for patient treatment
- Provide appropriate treatment
- Conduct medical examinations for employees of Panel Companies if needed
- Attend to emergencies in the wards until the arrival of a consultant
- Complete medical reports for patients when required
- Assist in training programs if necessary
- Deliver health talks or lectures if needed
- Report incidents and hazards to superiors and complete Incident Report Forms for each accident or incident
- Ensure effective communication and teamwork across services within the organization
- Perform duties as assigned by management
- Participate in new services introduced by the organization and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and MSQH standards
- Adhere to relevant duties under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and regulations

- Wear or use protective equipment provided
- Comply with occupational safety and health instructions and measures
