H&M busca un Asesor Legal para brindar apoyo legal integral en la expansión de tiendas en Chile, Perú y Uruguay. El candidato ideal tendrá experiencia en entornos legales dinámicos, será un comunicador eficaz en inglés y demostrará un enfoque proactivo. La posición es a tiempo completo y solo se considerarán aplicaciones de personas con derecho a trabajar en Chile.

Formación

  • Experiencia de 5 a 8 años en firmas legales e in-house en un entorno dinámico.
  • Comprensión de los impulsores clave del negocio y de la industria.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse con confianza en inglés en entornos multiculturales.

Responsabilidades

  • Revisar, redactar y negociar contratos de arrendamiento para tiendas H&M.
  • Asesorar proactivamente sobre cuestiones legales y disputas relacionadas con la expansión.
  • Apoyar en oportunidades para proyectos digitales.

As a Legal Counsel, you provide end-to-end legal support for both digital and physical store expansion and portfolio of H&M for Chile, Perú and Uruguay. Be a reliable business partner by providing legal and regulatory guidance, including but not limited to labor law, employment matters, health and safety, and data privacy, ensuring that it is in line with local laws and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft and negotiate lease/tenancy agreements for H&M stores including legal documents related to construction and facilities from a pro-business perspective with minimal risk exposure to H&M.
  • Proactively advise on legal issues/disputes related to expansion and/or consolidation and draft responses and letters in relation to contentious matters.
  • Provide support on marketplace and partnership opportunities for online/digital projects.
  • Assist the Regional Head of Legal & PA to provide overall legal support for projects, disputes, and strategic initiatives. Liaise with and support external counsel engagements in relation to dispute resolution.
  • Assist in research and analysis on legal issues with cross-border elements in business/consumer laws and other laws relevant for the industry.

To be successful as a Legal Counsel, you should have experience in an in-house legal function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally in a consumer business with digital and/or leasing experience. A self-starter who can work with minimum guidance and demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude towards their work with a detail-oriented approach. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a high energy level with the ability to thrive in a busy, commercially oriented, and hands-on environment, working as a team.

Requisitos

What you need to succeed:

  • Ability to speak fluently in English. Business level is a must; confidence to communicate well to a range of audiences about the business and legal priorities in a multi-cultural and multi-level environment.
  • Experience with an international law firm or a multinational corporation is required.
  • 5 to 8 years of law firm and in-house legal experience.
  • Understanding key drivers of the business and industry and quickly becoming immersed in the business and legal issues facing the company.

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head Office Sales Manager.
