Metso seeks a highly skilled Customer Claim Quality Engineer to lead end-to-end technical management of regional customer claims, from intake to root cause analysis, CAPA ownership, and closure. You will reduce handovers and ensure timely, sound resolution using metallurgical, dimensional and failure evidence.

The role combines quality engineering rigor with claim coordination, advising on design improvements and sharing lessons learned across sites to reduce COPQ and warranty lead times.

Formación

• Professional degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering.
• Experience in quality engineering, failure analysis, or RCA in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience interpreting material and dimensional evidence (metallurgy, rubber/PU degradation, welding, fastener failure).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001, CAPA, 8D, and RCA techniques.
• Experience with SAP QM, Salesforce CRM, Power BI, and MS Office.
• Intermediate written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical case intake and initial engineering assessment of evidence.
• Perform failure analysis using material, dimensional and metallurgical data.
• Own CAPA execution with defined actions and SLAs; ensure RCA quality.
• Advise on design/product improvements from recurring failure patterns.
• Coordinate claim reviews with stakeholders and train teams on CRM and SAP QM usage.
• Promote adherence to ISO 9001/14001/45001 quality management principles.
