DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Project Manager for the Southern Cluster, based in Santiago, Chile, to lead Quality and Regulatory Affairs initiatives across the Southern Cluster within QARA International.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop detailed plans, monitor risks, and ensure alignment with global strategies while supporting audit readiness and compliance across markets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in a regulated or matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience within Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Medical Device / Healthcare environments.

**Job Description:**

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Project Manager - Southern Cluster, located in Santiago, Chile. The Project Manager - Southern Cluster is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Quality and Regulatory Affairs (QARA) initiatives across the Southern Cluster within QARA International. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with global quality and regulatory strategies. The position plays a critical role in enabling compliance, operational excellence, and cross‑functional collaboration across multiple countries and stakeholders, directly supporting patient safety and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of QARA projects across the Southern Cluster, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, risk registers, and status reporting for assigned initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial) to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes.
• Support implementation of quality system, regulatory, and compliance initiatives across multiple markets.
• Facilitate project governance activities, including steering meetings, decision tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure project documentation meets internal quality standards and supports audit and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

_Education_

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or project management‑related education preferred (e.g., MBA).

_Experience and Skills_

Required

• Generally requires 3-5 years of relevant project management experience in a regulated or matrixed environment, aligned to a professional‑level role.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience developing project plans, tracking milestones, and reporting status to leadership.
• Ability to identify risks, escape issues, and drive resolution in a structured manner.
• Experience within Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Medical Device / Healthcare environments.

Preferred

• Familiarity with global quality systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working across Latin America or multi‑country regional structures.
• Exposure to change management or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with project management tools and reporting dashboards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level updates.

Other

• Languages: Spanish required; English proficiency required for global collaboration;
• Travel: Limited regional travel across the Southern Cluster.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred but not required.
