Una compañía líder en salud busca un Gerente de Economía de la Salud y Acceso al Mercado en Santiago de Chile. Este rol es fundamental para impulsar las estrategias de acceso al mercado y las iniciativas de atención médica basada en el valor en la región. Buscamos un líder proactivo con habilidades estratégicas y experiencia en salud económica.

Formación

  • 5-10 años de experiencia en Salud Económica y Acceso al Mercado.
  • Expertise en sistemas de salud del Clúster Sur, especialmente en Chile y Argentina.
  • Deseable conocimiento en Gestión de Valor Basada en la Salud (VBHC).

Responsabilidades

  • Implementar estrategias de acceso al mercado y de salud económica.
  • Analizar tendencias macroeconómicas para identificar oportunidades de negocio.
  • Desarrollar relaciones con pagadores y proveedores.

We are searching for the best talent for Health Economics & Market Access Manager to be in Santiago de Chile, Chile.

Purpose: The Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) Manager for the Southern Cluster of Latin America is an essential role focused on driving market access strategies and value-based healthcare initiatives. This position requires a proactive and strategic leader who can effectively manage various responsibilities, ensuring our healthcare advancements resonate across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Market Access Strategies: Execute innovative market access, health economics, and reimbursement strategies for key technologies across the Southern Cluster, particularly in Chile and Argentina. Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams.
  • Drive VBHC Strategy: Lead the execution of Value-Based Health Care (VBHC) strategies for strategic products and procedures, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Analyze Insights: Provide analysis on macroeconomic trends, health economics, epidemiology, market access, and reimbursement, utilizing these insights to identify new business opportunities and enhance market positioning.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Payers and Providers within the Southern Cluster healthcare landscape, clearly articulating value propositions to improve patient access.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and refine market access assessments and strategies to address significant local unmet needs and opportunities in the region.
  • Evaluate the reimbursement landscape and navigate market access challenges for new products and procedures within the Southern Cluster’s healthcare system.
  • Establishes a trust relationship with influencers and decision makers in reimbursement and technology adoption processes.
  • Create compelling health economics business cases that support the access and adoption of both new and existing technologies.
  • Engage proactively with external value management stakeholders to establish trust and facilitate technology adoption processes.
  • Support commercial strategies by identifying opportunities and tailoring actionable plans for diverse stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of J&J MedTech's value message.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for internal and external stakeholders on technology-specific value propositions and health economics concepts.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Deep expertise in the Southern Cluster’s healthcare systems, particularly in Chile and Argentina.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in Health Economics & Market Access.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive edge.
  • Proven ability to think creatively and strategically to fill market access gaps.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a proactive approach to engaging with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with non-clinical stakeholders is desirable; experience with Medical Devices access projects is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Willingness to travel nationally and regionally, including overnight stays.

Additional Desirable Capabilities:

  • Knowledge and practice in Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC).
  • Background in economic evaluation and healthcare modeling.

Qualifications:

  • Education: University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent; a Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related fields is highly regarded.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of related role experience in Health Economics & Market Access, showcasing the ability to deliver results independently.
