What are we looking for?

We are looking for an H&S Senior Coordinator Management System (Contractor) based in Santiago. Assure that Health & Safety performance is aligned with Atlas policies and procedures and in compliance with countries’ HS laws, project permits, and IFC Performance Standards, through the implementation of HS procedures, monitoring performance indicators, and auditing projects.

What challenges will you face?

• Support Atlas management system development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Develop and review Atlas H&S Procedures based on OSHA standards, ISO 45.001, simple, effective, and aligned with Atlas Culture for Dev, EPC, O&M, and offices.
• Develop, assess, and implement World-class best practices tools in H&S (leadership programs, behavior-based programs, H&S culture, andragogy or training programs); manage consulting.
• Develop, assess, and implement H&S Atlas software, manage consulting.
• Issue compliance reports.
• Work collaboratively and seamlessly with staff to identify gaps in H&S plans and address these changes proactively.
• Conduct intern H&S audits and attend any H&S governmental audits.
• Support the implementation and compliance of Atlas’s HS Management System.
• Maintain detailed records regarding Key Performance Indicators and metrics.
• Develop deep relationships with relevant corporate and site staff to ensure all information and/or works are completed in a detailed and timely manner.
• Develop concepts, gather and format information, and prepare clear communications.
• Maintain current reports submitted to the Atlas and all relevant partners and investor.

What specific knowledge do you need?

• 10+ years of exposure in construction/ operation environments.
• OSHA standards.
• Knowledge and experience with international H&S management systems, as well as leadership programs.
