Job summary

Euromonitor International is seeking a Research Analyst who will leverage big data, key secondary sources and core research methods to build and validate numbers in a standardized, transparent and efficient way for global and regional insights.

You will extract public-domain data, develop company profiles for data calculations, collaborate with forecasting specialists to adapt models, and ensure data quality through triangulation and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Extracts non-scalable public domain data for estimates and reports.
• Builds global and regional company profiles for data calculations.
• Collaborates with forecasting specialists to adapt regional models and validate results.
• Identifies sources, evaluates information and addresses research gaps.
• Performs data quality checks and documents sources and triangulation.
• Analyzes large datasets to create category/country estimates and cleans data.
• Explains and defends research approaches to clients.
• Collaborates with local specialists to engage with clients.
• Works with teams providing big data inputs and local insights.
