Job summary

Albemarle is hiring for a Commissioning Manager based onsite in Planta Salar, San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. The role leads the commissioning strategy for the DLE operation, coordinating pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and readiness activities across all project phases.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s in chemical, metallurgical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering and at least 10 years in industrial operations, commissioning, or related capital projects.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering as specified.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial operations, commissioning, start-up or related fields.
• Proven leadership of commissioning, pre-commissioning and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall commissioning strategy and execution plan for the DLE operation.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and readiness activities across all project phases.
• Establish commissioning standards, acceptance criteria and handover requirements.
• Integrate engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and vendors for safe start-up.
• Manage walkdowns, punch list closure, risk reviews and performance metrics.
