Albemarle is hiring for a DLE Process & Technology Superintendent. This onsite role is located in Santiago, Chile.

You will lead the process technology strategy for the DLE operation and provide technical leadership to operations, project and commissioning teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering with 10+ years of industrial processing experience, plus strong knowledge of process optimization and process control systems.

• 10+ years of industrial processing experience.
• Experience leading process engineering and process technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization and process control systems.
• Experience supporting plant start-up, operational readiness or commissioning.

Job Description

What You Will Do

• Lead the process technology strategy for the DLE operation.
• Manage process optimization, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership to operations, project and commissioning teams.
• Ensure process stability, quality, productivity and recovery targets are achieved.
• Lead process control, process engineering and technology improvement activities.
• Support operational readiness and ramp-up of the DLE facility.
• Drive innovation and best practices to maximize plant performance.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial processing experience.
• Experience leading process engineering and process technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization and process control systems.
• Experience supporting plant start-up, operational readiness or commissioning activities.

Preferred

• Postgraduate studies related to Process Engineering, Metallurgy or Operational Excellence.
• Experience in lithium, mining, chemicals or hydrometallurgical operations.
• Experience with advanced process control and digital technologies.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
