GHD in Santiago, Chile, is seeking a Chemist, Biologist, Natural Resources or Applied Science professional to join our Contamination Assessment & Remediation team. Based in Santiago, you will contribute to a wide range of environmental solutions and projects, supporting the future of our advisory services.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant science and 1–2 years of environmental laboratory experience, plus bilingual Spanish and English.

Formación

  • The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Natural Resources or Applied Science.
  • 1–2 years of environmental laboratory experience, preferably in analytical bench chemistry.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

Responsabilidades

  • QA Project Plan (QAPP) preparation.
  • Adherence to the QAQS outlines in the QAPP.
  • Performing validation of analytical data results.
  • Monitor current laboratory certifications.
  • Assist with preparing GHD required laboratory scoping documents.
  • Provide technical assistance to project team and laboratory.
  • Proactively update your manager on progress and issues.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with IS teams.

Our Environmental business in Santiago is looking for or Chemist, Biologist, Natural Resources or Applied Science professional to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects. This role will be based in Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) preparation
  • Adherence to the quality systems outlines in the QAPP
  • Performing validation of analytical data results
  • Monitor current laboratory certifications
  • Assistance with preparing GHD required laboratory scoping documents
  • Technical assistance provided to project team and/or laboratory
  • Proactively update your manager on work progress, improvement opportunities, potential issues and other relevant info
  • Develop and maintain collaborative and positive relationships with your team and other IS teams
Skills And Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Natural Resources or Applied Science.
  • 1 to 2 years’ environmental laboratory experience preferably in analytical bench chemistry
  • Experience in large and/or global professional services organization.
  • Experience working in large and/or global professional services organization.
  • Experience in managing multiple enterprise wide projects
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
