Garden sector that designs, manufactures, and sells bioclimatic pergolas.
Founded in Norway, PERGOLUX is constantly seeking growth opportunities
and is already available in over 14 countries across Europe, Oceania, North
America, and South America.

Would you like to join our team as an E-commerce Specialist for Chile?
The PERGOLUX E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for managing,
optimizing, and growing the company's online stores in the assigned markets.
The role involves managing day-to-day e-commerce operations, improving the
user experience, driving sales, and implementing online marketing strategies.
You are expected to deeply understand Shopify's platform, customization
capabilities, and integration with third-party tools and apps.

Tasks

Shopify Store Management:

  • Manage all aspects of the Shopify store, including product listings, pricing, inventory management, and content updates.
  • Set up and configure Shopify themes, plugins, and apps to enhance the store’s functionality and aesthetics.
  • Handle store settings such as shipping, taxes, payment gateways, and customer service settings.
  • Ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate and up-to-date.

Website Optimization:

  • Optimize the site for user experience (UX) and customer journey improvements.
  • Implement strategies to reduce cart abandonment and increase conversion rates.
  • Ensure that the Shopify store is mobile-responsive, user-friendly, and fast-loading.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement (SEO, performance, etc.).

Email Marketing:

  • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns using tools such as Klaviyo.
  • Develop automated flows and segmentation strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
  • Analyze performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize campaigns based on data insights.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure brand consistency and high-quality email communications.

E-commerce Marketing:

  • Create, manage, and optimize Shopify marketing tools.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and HQ E-commerce teams to align product promotions, sales, and campaigns on the Shopify platform.
  • Implement loyalty programs, referral programs, and promotional discounts on the site.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, and other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions.
  • Track the performance of marketing efforts and measure ROI on campaigns.
  • Provide regular performance reports to stakeholders.

Third-Party Integrations:

  • Integrate third-party apps and services into the Shopify store (e.g., payment processors, CRM, email marketing tools).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot integrations with fulfillment centers, inventory management systems, and other e-commerce tools.
  • Evaluate and implement additional Shopify apps that enhance store performance and customer experience.

Product Management and Merchandising:

  • Develop product categorization, collections, and tags to enhance discoverability.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure accurate product details, imagery, and merchandising.
  • Manage inventory, set up pre-orders, backorders, and notifications for out-of-stock products.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on managing Shopify stores.
  • Experience in Shopify theme customization, Liquid (Shopify's templating language), and Shopify apps.
  • Proven track record of growing sales and improving online store performance.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in Shopify platform, Shopify Admin, and third-party app integration.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Liquid (for Shopify customizations).
  • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and SEO best practices.

Marketing Skills:

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, email marketing (e.g., Klaviyo), and social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and customer journey analysis.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Language:

  • Spanish, native level
  • English B2, required to effectively communicate with our international teams.
