Worley in Chile is seeking a Services Manager for Project Services to lead Project Controls, Estimating and Document Control across Chile and Peru. You will drive governance, capability, and confident delivery of projects.

The role partners with Operations, Project Managers and Commercial teams, overseeing recruitment, performance and continuous improvement to deliver safe, predictable and profitable project outcomes.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
  • Master's Degree or MBA desirable.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the Project Services organization, including Project Controls, Estimating, and Document Control teams.
  • Develop capability, succession plans, and competency improvement programs.
  • Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, accuracy, collaboration, and customer service.
  • Manage recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
  • Provide governance and assurance for cost control, planning and scheduling, progress measurement, forecasting and productivity analysis, risk and opportunity management, change management and EVM.
  • Own the estimating function for proposals, studies, and project phases; maintain estimating tools and historical databases.
  • Establish and maintain document control standards and compliance; ensure effective utilization of EDMS platforms.
  • Support Operations in achieving revenue, GM, and EBIT objectives; participate in reviews and gate approvals.
  • Drive best practices, digital tools, automation, and reporting improvements; lead audits and maturity assessments.

Services Manager – Project Services

Lead and manage the Project Services function for Chile and Peru integrated operation (or assigned geography/business unit), ensuring excellence in Project Controls, Estimating, and Document Control across proposals and project execution. The role is accountable for functional governance, resource capability, project delivery support, forecasting accuracy, estimating quality, document management compliance, and continuous improvement.

The Services Manager acts as the functional leader for Project Controls, Estimating, and Document Control personnel while partnering with Operations, Project Managers, and Commercial teams to achieve safe, predictable, and profitable project delivery.

Principal Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
  • Lead the Project Services organization, including Project Controls, Estimating, and Document Control teams.
  • Develop capability, succession plans, and competency improvement programs.
  • Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, accuracy, collaboration, and customer service.
  • Manage recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
Project Controls Management
  • Provide governance and assurance for:
    • Cost control
    • Planning and scheduling
    • Progress measurement
    • Forecasting and productivity analysis
    • Risk and opportunity management
    • Change management
    • Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Ensure project controls processes are consistently applied across all projects.
  • Review project performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support project reviews, monthly performance reporting, and executive governance processes
Estimating Leadership
  • Own the estimating function for proposals, studies, and project phases.
  • Ensure estimates are developed in accordance with Worley estimating procedures and approval processes.
  • Maintain estimating tools, benchmarks, productivity factors, and historical databases.
  • Review estimate accuracy, assumptions, contingencies, staffing plans, and commercial alignment.
  • Support bid strategies, major pursuits, and client presentations.
  • Drive estimating consistency and lessons learned across projects
Document Control & Information Management
  • Establish and maintain document control standards and compliance.
  • Ensure effective utilization of approved EDMS platforms (Aconex, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Monitor document workflows, transmittals, turnaround times, and deliverable quality.
  • Ensure document management processes support project execution, audits, and closeout requirements.
  • Promote data integrity, traceability, and governance across all projects.
Operational & Commercial Support
  • Support Operations in achieving revenue, GM, and EBIT objectives.
  • Participate in project reviews, risk reviews, estimate reviews, and gate approvals.
  • Ensure Project Services resources are effectively deployed to maximize utilization.
  • Support project staffing, resource forecasting, and global delivery models.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Worley Management System requirements.
  • Drive implementation of best practices, digital tools, automation, and reporting improvements.
  • Lead audits, health checks, and maturity assessments.

Develop KPI dashboards for service performance.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • Master's Degree or MBA desirable.
Experience
  • 20+ years of experience in EPCM, EPC, consulting, or major capital projects.
  • 10+ years in leadership positions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing:
    • Project Controls
    • Cost Management

    • Document Control / Information Management
  • Experience supporting large mining, infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects and EOC / EPCM
