Cermaq Chile is seeking a Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence Leader to define, drive and implement the company’s digital automation strategy. The role connects business processes, IT, data, security and people across the organization to deliver end-to-end process automation with a focus on business value and governance.

The candidate will lead the hyperautomation roadmap, evaluate ROI-driven automation initiatives, and ensure security and compliance while scaling automation capabilities

Formación

• Advanced English (C1) proficiency is mandatory

Cermaq Chile is looking for a Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence Leader to define, drive and implement the company's digital automation strategy, connecting business process, IT, data, security and people across the organization. The role ensures automation initiatives are adopted with a clear focus on business value, process governance, corporate compliance, change management, and the development of internal capabilities. It also integrates technology platforms and enables end-to-end process automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the definition, execution, and ongoing update of Cermaq Chile's Hyperautomation roadmap, aligned with operational efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, compliance, and user experience.
• Drive the evaluation of the automation initiative portfolio, prioritizing by ROI, volume/repetition, risk, operational criticality, technical feasibility, data availability, and user impact.
• Partnership with business stream to identify pain points and challenges, translating them into automatition use cases.
• Lead the end-to-end automation lifecycle: process discovery, business case analysis, redesign prior to automation, solution design, pilot/PoC, testing, deployment, support, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the adoption of AI platforms authorized within Cermaq technology ecosystem.
• Orchestrate enabling technologies such as RPA/Bots, Power Apps, Claude, Copilot/Copilot Studio, APIs, integrations with corporate systems, and the Power BI/Fabric platform.
• Ensure automation initiatives meet security, privacy, segregation of duties, traceability, audit, business continuity, and responsible AI use standards, as applicable.
• Manage vendors, partners, and internal teams, overseeing costs/licensing, technical quality, knowledge management, operational support, and component reuse.
• Measure and tracks executive results: KPIs, adoption, backlog, roadmap status, captured benefits, open risks, and scale-up opportunities.
• Act as the point of contact with global teams and other Opcos to connect and share automation/AI initiatives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education:

Degree in Civil Engineering (Computer Science, Industrial or similar ), Commercial Engineering, or a related engineering field with a technical specialization in Business Process Management or Data Science.

Experience:

• Advanced English (Ex: C1), spoken and written (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT)
• 8 years of professional experience in digital transformation, process improvement, automation, or data analytics (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT)
• At least 5 years participating in automation/digitalization initiatives.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Business process automation: RPA, BPM/workflow, artificial intelligence, agents, intelligent automation, process/task mining, APIs, integration, and low-code/no-code.
• Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, AI Builder, Copilot Studio, connectors, Dataverse, and environment governance.
• Process automation with a focus on redesign prior to implementation, standardization, exception handling, testing, monitoring, and operational support.
• Initiative portfolio management: intake, value/feasibility prioritization, business case development, ROI/payback, OKR/KPI tracking, benefits realization, and demand management.
• ERP and enterprise systems; experience with D365 F&O/BC, FishTalk, Innova, APIs, databases, SharePoint, and enterprise architecture is a plus.
• Governance, security, and control: segregation of duties, credentials, permissions, privacy, audit, traceability, continuity, compliance, and responsible AI use.
• Data and analytics for automation: data quality, lineage, Power BI/Fabric dashboards, process telemetry, and performance measurement.
• Agile project management, PoC/MVP delivery, scale-up to production, vendor management, and change management.

Desirable Certifications

Microsoft Power Platform (PL-900, PL-200, PL-500), Power Automate RPA, AI-900, Azure Fundamentals, Copilot Studio, Automation Anywhere/UiPath/Blue Prism, BPM/Lean Six Sigma, Scrum/Agile, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent certifications. Training in AI governance, information security, data, or enterprise architecture is a plus.
