Aura Astronomy is looking for a Security DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps) to ensure security practices in the software lifecycle in La Serena, Chile. The role involves developing secure CI/CD pipelines and hardening infrastructure. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in software engineering and familiarity with Kubernetes. Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or a security-adjacent role.
• Working proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes including security configuration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, deploy, configure, test, and maintain DevOps services.
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines with automated security checks.
• Participate in threat modeling sessions for new features.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

Experience with CI/CD platforms

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to mentor junior engineers

Educación

4+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CKS certification (preferred)
