Bluelight is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE professional to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, focusing on AWS services, IaC, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with engineers across projects to ensure reliability, compliance, and performance while working in a remote-friendly environment that values continuous learning and professional growth.

Formación

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-first mindset: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices.
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.]
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Lead DevOps/SRE activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate AWS infrastructure including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, and S3.
• Design and implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Develop rollback drills and tested remediation paths.
• Monitor and observe systems using OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch.
• Support SOC 2 audits and client security reviews.
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Contribute to secure multi-tenant environments and data retention strategies.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3)
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with deployment automation and tested rollback paths, including rollback drills
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar)
• Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets
• Security-first mindset: experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems
