AltScore is seeking a Dev Security Operations who possesses a strong engineering background and a deep commitment to protecting our data infrastructure. This pivotal role involves leading our efforts to safeguard sensitive financial data, crucial for the integrity and success of our lending solutions.

As the Dev Security Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security strategies and systems. Your role will demand a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and the latest in data protection technologies. You'll be part of an Engineering team of security professionals and you'll be focused on security workfronts.

Your technical expertise will be vital in creating and maintaining a security foundation within the company, encompassing everything from employee training to the development of secure solutions and coding practices.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of protecting the digital assets of a leading financial technology firm in Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Harden the development and implementation of comprehensive data security strategies, ensuring compliance with SOC 2, ISO, GDPR, and similar standards.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to integrate compliance requirements into our security infrastructure.
• Conduct regular security assessments.
• Help develop, enforce, and update policies related to data encryption, secure coding practices, and overall information security, in line with global standards.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in data security, cybersecurity, and compliance regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in data security.
• Proficiency with Python programming.
• Strong technical foundation in cybersecurity principles, network security, and data protection technologies.
• Proven track record in development and implementation of data security strategies that align with international compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Base Salary: $4,000 - $8,000 USD per month, depending on skills according to our engineering scale L3 - L8.
• Performance Bonus: Based on achievement of agreed KPIs.
