Speechify is a 100% distributed company, hiring a Software Engineer for Data Infrastructure & Acquisition in Santiago, Chile. You will build data sources, run ingestion pipelines, and collaborate with AI researchers to scale datasets for next‑generation models.

Formación

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of industry software development experience.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts with GCP.
• Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate with Scientists to shift cost/throughput/quality for bigger scale at lower cost.
• Collaborate with AI Team and Leadership to craft the dataset roadmap for future products.
