The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, IaC automation, and best practices in data quality, governance, and cost efficiency, all while offering flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
• Proven expertise building data pipelines using AWS-native services like AWS Glue and Kinesis.
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing data warehouses on Amazon Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation and automation.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Python.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse architectures on Redshift and data lakes on S3.
• Automate data workflows and infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools.
• Implement data models and partitioning strategies to improve query performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and reliability through automated validation checks and monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

As a Data Engineer (AWS), you will design and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines using AWS-native services. You will serve as the technical link between raw data sources and analytical environments, ensuring that information flows efficiently and securely across the enterprise.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Python.
