Confidential is hiring a Data Centre Fibre Technician to join an on-site technical team in Santiago. You will be part of a small, hands-on crew responsible for keeping critical fibre and network infrastructure running - installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment inside a live, mission-critical facility.

The role requires a technical hands-on background in data centres or fibre, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as part of a small team.

Formación

• Must-have fibre cabling, installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Must-have data centre operations experience.
• Must-have single-mode and multi-mode fibre cabling knowledge.
• Must-have structured cabling standards and best practices.
• Must-have ability to work independently and follow documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Install, replace, and decommission fibre jumpers and cabling in the data centre.
• Perform rack-and-stack, cable routing, labeling, and cable management.
• Work through a daily ticket queue to locate faults and certify connections.
• Coordinate material availability and flag shortages or alternatives.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols at all times.
• Keep accurate records and escalate blockers promptly.
