Bechtel Corporation in Santiago seeks a Design Engineer for Control Systems to support instrumentation and electrical design on complex projects. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop 2D/3D designs and ensure deliverables meet project goals.
Role requires a degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field and 5–12 years of experience. Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD and Smart3D is expected, with some English (B1) desirable.
Formación
- Degree or equivalent in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation/Control Engineering.
- 5–12 years of relevant experience (or 9–12 years as alternative).
- Experience with CAD/3D design tools and multi-disciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation design standards.
Responsabilidades
- Understand design work processes for control and instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate design efforts with other disciplines and customer teams.
- Prepare floor plans and 2D drawings using CAD tools (MicroStation).
- Review calculations, models and documents for accuracy and consistency.
- Develop 3D design models and construction drawings under supervision.
- Maintain records and information supporting work plans and controls.
