Our Opportunity
The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving continuous improvement and standardization initiatives across drive continuous improvement and standardization initiatives across Maersk's Depot.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics operations, lean six sigma methodology, process improvement methodologies, and change management and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that drive operational safety, quality, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy that supports Maersk's business objectives and drives continuous improvement within the operation and stakeholders.
Be a partner in delivering training programs with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology specifications according to Lean integrator guidelines to build proficient material in process improvement methodologies and tools.
Using Lean six sigma tools like RCA, 5whys, SMED, VSM-Value stream mapping, Mapping, and promoting Kaizen for analysis and training for all the sectors to improve daily.
Identify, track, and audit key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operational excellence initiatives.
Define and maintain a continuous improvement framework and toolkit, including process maps, metrics, and best practices on the sites.
Lead cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Lead identification of digital improvements and reports simplification for the operational sector and daily routines, promoting visual management in the sites.
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees are proficient in process improvement methodologies and tools on the sites.
Led and mentored teams of process improvement professionals, providing guidance and support to drive project success.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including operations, customers, vendors, and industry associations, to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Develop a connection to follow up on savings and improvements due is responsible for Monthly Savings control for EBIT working with Financial, Procurement, Product Excellence, etc.
Deal with global standards to implement on their sites follow and challenging guidelines to adapt according to the site nature (Depot).
Who We Are Looking For

Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, and supply chain management.
English Intermediate to advanced (writing, listening, and speaking)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations and process improvement, also could work in the manufacturing industry with a proven track record of success
Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience leading and mentoring projects with high difficulty.
Green belt certification required
Black belt certification (Nice to have)
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Power BI tools knowledge. Other digitalization tools like RPA and Microsoft Power Automate (Nice to have).
Dominion of O365 platform – Microsoft, Visio
Minitab knowledge (Nice to have)
