Signant Health in Chile is looking for a Cloud Operations Database Engineer to ensure the stability and scalability of their database infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL systems, troubleshoot issues, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Formación

• Experience in a modern software development environment that is Agile and incorporates DevOps practices.
• Good hands-on experience in Linux/Windows server operating systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL DBA tasks for the company’s database systems.
• Troubleshoot to identify root cause and resolve reported issues.
• Manage and monitor database backups and storage.
• Support production environments as part of 24x7 on-call rotation.

Conocimientos

Experience in a modern software development environment

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure

Good hands-on experience in Linux/Windows

Knowledge of relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL

Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Experience setting up and configuring monitoring systems

Ability to work independently

Educación

BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
