A multinational company is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for driving growth in the Geochemistry sector in Chile and Argentina. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry or a related field, 5 years of relevant experience, and strong English proficiency. Responsibilities include strategic planning, market research, client engagement, and brand promotion. This position offers opportunities for travel and collaboration across regions.

About the position

Responsible for the ALS Geochemistry Business Development area in Chile and Argentina. Opening new businesses and clients, working together with the Country Manager and Regional Management, to ensure the sustainability and growth of the business.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager of Chile - Argentina and, functionally, to the Regional Business Development Manager.

Location: Colina, Santiago.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute strategic business plans in line with corporate strategic objectives.
  2. Evaluate and research the market, through market share measurements and competitor analysis.
  3. Schedule visits to current and new clients, as well as elaborate commercial and economic proposals, based on the company\'s commercial strategic plan.
  4. Participate and strategically promote the organization\'s brand in events such as tradeshows, workshops, etc.
  5. Prepare and elaborate forecasts, presentations and management reports that help the company to make informed decisions in a timely manner.
  6. Ensure the correct synergy between the Project, Operations and Customer Service areas internally.
Professional Background
  1. Degree in Chemistry, Geologist, Industrial Civil Engineer or related.
  2. Minimum experience of 5 years in similar positions, ideally in multinational companies.
  3. English language proficiency at an advanced level (written and conversational) is a must.
  4. Availability to travel.
