Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Azure Data Engineer based in Chile to design scalable security data pipelines for SIEM and cloud data platforms. You will work with high volumes of security telemetry to support threat detection, incident response, compliance, and cyber risk visibility.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data engineering, or related tech discipline.
• Hands-on on onboarding, managing and validating log sources in SIEM/cloud analytics.
• Experience with parsing/normalizing/transforming data including JSON, XML, CSV.
• Familiarity with security telemetry across networks, endpoints, identity, cloud and apps.
• Experience with Azure logging/monitoring services is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable security data ingestion pipelines for SIEM and cloud data platforms like Azure Data Explorer and Log Analytics.
• Parse, normalize, transform, enrich, and validate structured and unstructured security telemetry using regex, JSON parsing, schema mapping, and other data-processing techniques.
• Onboard new log sources and validate end-to-end data flows with application, infrastructure, cloud, vendors, and security stakeholders.
• Ensure data telemetry integrity, timeliness, and quality for monitoring, detection, incident response, reporting, and risk management.
• Align data with schemas, naming conventions, governance standards, and organizational requirements for downstream analytics.
• Troubleshoot ingestion, parsing, transformation, schema and data-quality issues across diverse platforms.
• Maintain documentation for log onboarding, data mappings, configurations, and support processes.
• Collaborate with detection engineering and security operations to support investigation and response use cases.
• Conduct telemetry gap analyses and recommend improvements for coverage.
• Support logging practices to meet regulatory, audit, retention, and data-integrity needs.
• Improve ingestion frameworks, automation, and onboarding processes for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Support IaC, scripting, and automation to streamline deployment and maintenance.
• Monitor pipeline performance and optimize reliability, throughput, and cost.
