Qualifications

• 5+ years of auto finance management experience.
• Experience with OEM or automotive manufacturer backgrounds or auto-finance banking.
• Extensive knowledge of local automotive market, financial regulations, and lending institutions.
• Experience with digital financing platforms.
• Understanding of credit risk management and compliance.

Responsibilities

Job description

1. 1.Develop and implement retail auto finance and floor plan (when applicable) strategies to support OEM sales targets in Chile.
2. 3.Build and maintain strong relationships with local financial institutions, banks, and other lending partners.
3. 4.Conduct regular training sessions for dealer sales teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance, and ethical standards.
4. 5.Analyze market trends and customer preferences to tailor financing solutions.
5. 6.Coordinate with OEM sales teams and dealerships to facilitate financing options for customers.
6. 7.Coordinate with the banks to study the end-to-end auto finance process, including credit approval, documentation, and funding.
7. 8.Coordinate with the banks to monitor portfolio performance, including approval rates delinquency rates, defaults, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
8. 9.Stay updated on all relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting automotive finance.
9. 10.Mitigate risk related to wholesale financing (floorplan) for the dealer network.
10. 11.Prepare reports and forecasts on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
11. 12.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financing services and customer experience.
12. 13.Experiences with Saving Plan (plan de ahorro) as a plus.

Requirements

• 1.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree or postgraduate finance qualification is a plus.
• 2.Proven experience (5+ years) in auto finance management, preferably with OEM or automotive manufacturer backgrounds or banking background from auto-finance sector.
• 3.Extensive knowledge of the local automotive market, financial regulations, and lending institutions.
• Experience with digital financing platforms.
• Understanding of credit risk management and compliance.
• 4.Native Spanish; Fluent English required (oral and written)
• 5.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
