Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an AI Software Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems on top of AI models, not training models.

You will build agentic workflows, integrate with LangChain, LangGraph and API providers, and connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS for streamlined operations. Remote role with a US-based team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring
