Job summary

Consertus is seeking a talented Application Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance Python applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform. You will leverage Claude Code for AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery cycles and improve code quality.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable, event-driven architectures, RESTful API design with FastAPI, and integration with CI/CD processes. Hybrid or Remote work options are available with an international scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency with Python3.10+ and FastAPI.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, test, deploy, and maintain Python applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop scalable microservices and event-driven solutions using Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and Eventarc.
• Develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI and gRPC with robust authentication and versioning.
• Follow clean code practices and participate in design reviews and sprint planning.
• Implement IaC using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines.
