Job summary

Blacksmith Agency seeks an AI Automation Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems atop AI, not model training, delivering reliable automations across tools and workflows.

You will integrate LangChain/LangGraph, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, and build pipelines that connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and our CMS, enabling scalable automation at scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.
