Job summary

Xylem in Antofagasta seeks a Service Operations Planner/Engineer to coordinate planning, control progress, and manage equipment from receipt to dispatch within a SAP/ERP environment.

You will prepare Gantt charts, set priorities by client criticality, track quality and warranty indicators, oversee MRP improvements, and ensure procedures align with SGI standards. Some travel required; English is desirable. Experience with ISO 14001:2015 and 9001:20015 is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or industrial engineering.
• 4+ years in operations and planning with rotary machinery knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and ISO 14001:2015 / 9001:20015.
• Experience in quality management and handling warranties; RCA analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Gantt charts to plan and track field service work.
• Prioritize tasks by client criticality and dispatch schedule.
• Track equipment from reception to dispatch and maintain records.
• Update S-curve control graphs and KPI dashboards.
• Manage quality and warranty indicators and close warranty actions.
• Coordinate warranty cases with technical area and finalize processes.
• Oversee quality tests on repaired equipment and issue reports.
• Monitor parts stock to meet the work program.
• Ensure Service Tech staff follow SGI procedures and standards.
• Review and improve service procedures and work instructions.
• Prepare SAP quotations for service and maintain backlog.
• Suggest improvements to MRP to include required components.

• + Elaborar Cartas Gantt para la planificación y control de avance del plan de trabajo de los equipos en Servicio Técnico.
• + Identificar prioridades según criticidad de clientes y programa de despacho.
• + Llevar la trazabilidad desde la recepción de equipos para mantención hasta su despacho.
• + Mantener actualizado los gráficos de control (curva S).
• + Control y trazabilidad de indicadores de calidad y garantías.
• + Gestionar garantías direccionándolas con el área técnica asegurándose de cerrar el proceso.
• + Controlar la ejecución de pruebas de calidad a equipos reparados y la emisión de los informes que deben ser realizados durante los procesos que abarcan desde la recepción hasta el despacho de equipos.
• + Controlar el stock necesario de repuestos para cumplir con el programa de trabajo.
• + Verificar que el personal de Servicio Técnico cumpla con los procedimientos establecidos del SGI, Normas y estándares de los fabricantes.
• + Revisar y mejorar los procedimientos e instructivos de servicio técnico.
• + Realizar cotizaciones SAP para el área de servicio llevando registro del backlog y orderlog.
• + Revisar y realizar propuestas de mejoras al MRP, asegurándose de incluir todos los componentes requeridos para optimizar los tiempos de reparación.

Requisitos

• 5. 1.- Nivel Educacional:
  Graduado Universitario
• 5.2.- Título: (o profesional equivalente): Ingeniero Mecánico, Hidráulico, Eléctrico o Industrial excluyente.
• 5.3.- Experiencia Requerida
  + Mayor a 4 años en áreas de operaciones y planificación.
  + Conocimientos en máquinas rotativas y proceso de reparación.
  + Experiencia relacionada con competencias: Uso sistemas ERP.
  + SAP
  + Conocimiento en normas ISO 14001:2015 y 9001:20015
  + Experiencia en gestión de calidad y manejo de garantías.
  + Análisis RCA.
  + Indicadores de confiabiidad y mantenibilidad.

• 5.5.- Idiomas: Sí. Inglés intermedio deseable.
• 5.6.- Excluyente: Licencia clase B; MS Project, Excel Intermedio, Power BI.
