Job summary

Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner seeks a VP Fund Management in Switzerland to create and launch an institutional Bitcoin-denominated fund.

You will own investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk framework, investor relations, and regulatory governance from the ground up. As a founding executive, you will work with independent directors, service providers, and tech teams to build a scalable platform in a remote-first environment at the intersection of Bitcoin, capital markets, and

Qualifications

At least 10 years in asset management/trading with P&L responsibility.
Experience managing a regulated investment fund with at least $100M AUM.
Deep Bitcoin market knowledge and DeFi exposure.
Experience with Cayman Islands/BVI structures is preferred.
CFA/CAIA or regulator license is an advantage.
Entrepreneurial, remote-first with leadership.

Responsibilities

Define the fund's investment strategy and mandate with board alignment.
Build and manage a portfolio across BTC lending, market-neutral, and yield strategies.
Lead due diligence on counterparties, custodians, and venues.
Oversee performance reporting denominated in Bitcoin.
Establish risk framework with exposure limits and liquidity rules.
Manage daily risk, stress tests, and capital preservation.
Lead fundraising with foundations, ecosystem funds, and institutions.
Structure investor terms and comply with marketing rules.
Produce monthly/quarterly investor communications.
Govern and ensure regulatory reporting and audits.
Coordinate with administrators, custodians, and auditors.
Build and lead a lean investment and operations team.
Represent the fund in Bitcoin and Layer-1 ecosystems.
