StudySmarter is seeking an experienced UX Designer to develop user experiences for complex financial products in Zurich. The role includes conducting research and usability testing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementations.

Zurich or Edinburgh (Hybrid). You will be based in either location for a minimum of three days a week, with flexibility to work from home for part of your working week.

In partnership with business analysts, developers, and product managers, you will ensure seamless implementation and incorporate accessibility (WCAG standards) and inclusive design practices.
Leveraging data and business insight, you will align user needs with revenue and cost‑optimization goals.
You have proven experience as a UX Designer in complex, fast‑paced environments, with a strong interest or background in financial services.
Strong portfolio showcasing UX process and design outcomes, with expertise in Figma, Miro; familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus. You are analytical, logical, and skilled at gathering and analysing information for decision‑making and problem solving.
