Job summary

La Garenne International School seeks a University Admissions Counsellor to guide students through higher education pathways and collaborate with colleagues and families to define personalised futures.

You will oversee the HEF programme, work with the HEF Coordinator, and liaise with other providers to tailor admissions support across the Secondary School. Regularly update families on progress.

Qualifications

• Has experience in dealing with university admissions.
• Embraces equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new admissions practices.
• Familiarity with IB Diploma Programme is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Higher Education & Futures programme and ensure Gatsby Benchmarks.
• Coordinate with HEF Coordinator to prepare students for university admission.
• Engage with HEF providers to tailor student pathways.
• Maintain personalised HEF pathways across Secondary School.
• Coordinate references, transcripts, and application materials for UCAS/Common App.
