Job summary

Swiss International Air Lines AG in Zurich seeks a Turnaround Management professional to oversee aircraft turnarounds and interface coordination within ground handling. You ensure punctuality, safety and compliance for all operations below the wing, coordinating with Hub Control Center and Duty Station teams.

The role requires at least 3 years in ground operations with ramp handling or load control, completed vocational training or higher education, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• Profound knowledge of ground operations and processes with at least 3 years' experience in ramp handling or load control.
• Completed vocational training or higher education.
• Strong German and English skills (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth turnaround process and optimal coordination of interfaces in ground handling.
• Focus on punctuality of all activities.
• Oversee safe, compliant, efficient, customer-oriented ground operations below the wing.
• Manage critical flights (slot, night ban, crew duty) per Hub Control Center or Duty Station.
• Enforce measures towards interfaces.
• Identify disruptive factors and decide on countermeasures.
• Coach interfaces on process adherence and safety.
• Report and pursue continuous improvement; propose punctuality improvements.
