Job summary

Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Ground Operations Controller to join our turnaround management team at Zürich/Kloten. You will ensure safe, compliant and efficient ground handling below the wing, coordinating with Hub Control Center and interfaces.

The role requires at least 3 years in ground operations, fluent German and English, and willingness for shift work between 05:00 and 23:45. We offer a 13th salary, flight benefits, pension, and diverse benefit programs.

Qualifications

• Profound knowledge of ground operations and processes; at least 3 years of experience.
• Completed vocational training or higher education.
• Altéa FM/CM knowledge desirable.
• IT experience with Microsoft Power Platform (low-code Apps, Flows, SharePoint Lists) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant, efficient and customer-oriented ground operations below the wing.
• Management of critical flights (Slot, night ban, crew duty etc.) defined by Hub Control Center, Duty Station Management or by your own assessment.
• Enforcing measures and decisions towards interfaces.
• Identifying possible disruptive factors and making necessary decisions or implementing corresponding countermeasures.
• Coaching of interfaces in terms of process adherence, process improvement and safety.
• Reporting and continuous improvement.
• Optimization proposals to increase punctuality and customer satisfaction.
