Job summary

SDI Human Resources GmbH is seeking a professional nanny for a private chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland. The role requires 100% workload, long-term commitment, and a live-out arrangement. You will supervise children, plan activities, prepare meals, and support education while accompanying the family on travels.

Fluency in English is essential; additional French or German is a plus. A valid driving license and flexible travel are required to join this esteemed family in a luxury alpine setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a nanny, ideally in a ROTa position.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is a strong advantage.
• Profound understanding of child development stages and needs.
• Trustworthy, warm, proactive, and discreet.
• Positive attitude, solution-oriented, and highly organized.
• Fluent in English; French or German would be a plus.
• Valid driving licence and confident driving skills (essential).
• Flexibility and ability to travel with the family.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the complete care, well-being, and supervision of the children
• Provide age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
• Prepare children’s meals and snacks (prepare meals for family in absence of Chef)
• Handle hygiene routines (bathing, grooming, toileting)
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for the children at all times
• Keep the children’s areas tidy and organized
• Manage children's laundry (washing, ironing, organising wardrobes)
• Assist with homework and learning support (tutoring/teaching experience is an asset)
• Accompany children to extracurricular activities, playdates, and appointments
• Travel with the family as needed (national and international)
• Cooperate closely with the parents on planning and implementing routines
