Trafigura is seeking a Senior Automation Lead to accelerate AI, automation, and modern tooling adoption within Trade Finance. The role bridges Trade Finance operations with IT delivery, translating friction into prioritised automation initiatives and guiding production deployment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record as a change agent, with strong Trade Finance domain knowledge and experience leading technology-driven transformations in a complex, global environment.

Qualifications

Experience leading automation or AI projects with measurable outcomes.
Background in Trade Finance technology-driven transformation is a plus.
Ability to translate business friction into prioritised automation initiatives.
Experience with modern AI tooling and risk/governance considerations.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the Trade Finance automation roadmap and prioritise high-ROI use cases.
Lead end-to-end digitalization projects from scoping to adoption.
Build business cases aligned with IT architecture and target vision.
Partner with IT delivery teams throughout delivery to production deployment.
Map and redesign processes before tooling is applied.
Prototype solutions and produce IT-consumable requirements.
