Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Threat Detection Engineer to develop and maintain Tetragon runtime security policies for customers. You will monitor threat intelligence and CVEs, translating findings into practical protections across environments.

You will collaborate with Isovalent and Cisco engineers to enhance policy capabilities and support deployment in production. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of threat and/or vulnerability research.
• 3+ years of experience developing security detections at scale.
• 3+ years of experience working on Linux system security (e.g., capabilities, LSMs).
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Develop and maintain Tetragon runtime security policies to ensure visibility of suspicious activity.
• Help design frameworks and architectures for policy consumption and security posture.
• Monitor CVEs and threat intel to develop Tetragon security policies.
• Collaborate with Isovalent and Cisco engineers to enhance security policy capabilities.
• Engage with solution architects and customers to deploy policies in production.
• Publish content and give talks based on your work.
